Plan-and-profile drawings show a distribution line in both overhead (plan) and side (profile) views on one sheet.

Plan-and-profile is a drawing format that presents a distribution line in two coordinated views: a plan (overhead) view showing horizontal alignment and a profile (elevation) view showing grade and structure heights.
