As-Built

An as-built is a record drawing updated to show what was actually constructed in the field.

An as-built (or record drawing) is a construction drawing revised to reflect what was actually built, incorporating field redlines and markups that differ from the original design. As-built drafting turns those field records into clean, revision-controlled drawings on the utility's CAD standard, closing out every change so the record set stays accurate for future work.
