Redline

A redline is a markup showing corrections or field changes to be incorporated into a drawing.

A redline is a marked-up drawing — traditionally in red — showing corrections, revisions or field changes to be incorporated. Redlines from review or from construction are incorporated into clean, revision-controlled drawings and as-builts, with every change closed out in the change list.
