Landbase
A landbase is the survey-accurate base map of parcels, roads and assets that a distribution drawing is built on.
A landbase is the coordinate-true base map beneath a distribution design — property boundaries, road alignment, right-of-way and existing utility assets. It is assembled from parcel data, survey and GIS sources reconciled to one project datum. Because a drawing is only as accurate as the base beneath it, a clean landbase is where GIS accuracy and CAD precision have to agree.
