Right-of-Way (ROW)

A right-of-way is the legal corridor of land a utility has the right to use for its lines.

A right-of-way (ROW) is the strip of land, secured by easement or ownership, that a utility has the legal right to use for its distribution or transmission lines. ROW and easement alignment are drafted into the landbase so corridor design starts from an accurate legal footprint.
