Geodatabase

A geodatabase is a structured database that stores GIS features, attributes and relationships.

A geodatabase is the database format used by GIS (notably Esri) to store spatial features, their attributes, domains and relationships. Utility asset editing and capture are often performed directly in the geodatabase, following the client's editing rules and coordinate system.
