Load Case

A load case is a defined combination of wind, ice and tension used to check a structure against code.

A load case is a specific combination of loads — wind, ice, temperature and conductor tension — that a structure must withstand under the governing code. NESC loading districts and CSA load cases define these combinations, and pole loading analysis evaluates each structure against every applicable load case to produce a pass/fail result.
